Model for a Day!

You always had a very special idea of how you would like to be photographed or you have a special outfit that you love, but for which you have (almost) never the occasion to wear it?

Junge Fotografie now offers professional Concept - Photoshoots for everyone*.

To develop your own personal photo-concept, we'll have a comprehensive preliminary talk before the shooting itself, to which you simply bring your outfit and your styling - ideas, so we can plan your pictures together, as well as looking for an appropriate location.

At the actual day of the photoshoot we will meet (already styled) at the agreed location and start to implement your ideas into professional photos. Of course, I will give tips and guide you through the whole shooting, so that we can achieve, without the need that you already have experiences in front of the camera, the best possible images.

At the end you'll get a basic selection of all images from which you can choose 5 photos, which then undergo a professional post-production (photo-retouche) to give them the perfect "finish".

Photo - Project 2010

It's finally done, the new photo project of the German photographer Nina Hüttmann is online.

"DIVIDED" is the title, which refers to both the motives and their mood, as well as to the used style of postproduction, where was worked with selective coloring.

With best wishes and thanks to the young model Kamil-Kornel, the shooting was a lot of fun!

Photo - publication & personal rights

The District Court of Hamburg adjudicated a couple € 2,500 per person on May, 28th 2010, because the photographer has used their wedding pictures without permission for advertising purposes. I take this occasion to spell out how I handle the publication of photos here in my blog, my portfolio and / or on my website.

Cause at Junge Fotografie - Nina Hüttmann nothing happens without the written consent of my customers!

The decision to book a professionell photographer always requires an appropriate amount of trust to the photographer, which in retrospect should not be violated in such a way. For this reason the protection of the personal rights of my customers has highest priority.

From time to time I ask my customers for permission to use their photos for my own representation. The intended use of the photos is clearly defined and may be limited as desired by the customer or rejected at all. The sale of photos to third parties is excluded in any case.

Studio - portrait photography

As you might can imagine, I use my studio not only for application portraits, but also to try new things. These are two pictures from a regular portrait shooting, which, because of the long and really cold winter of this year, had to be moved inside.

Teen "models"

They want to present themselves in a new light and show the world that they already feel grown up. But is every pose suitable for every age?

This is a decision that every photographer has to make on his/her own, but for me it's always some kind of a balancing act. I always try to consult the wishes of my young "models", but in the end I'm the one who is responsible for what the photos look like and that the posing doesn't look inappropriate for the age of the "model".

Here are two examples from my last teen - shooting ...
in the end it's the mix that counts!

Wedding photography

The probably most important day of your life wants to be captured, if only in bridal couple portraits (with and without parents and / or witnesses) after the wedding (next to the church, the registry office or at another location) or as a photo - documentation that reflects the day, or just the ceremony.

Please note, if you like to have the ceremony captured at church or at the registry office, to clarify the following things in advance:
1. Ask the the pastor or the registrar if flash – photography is permitted during the ceremony.
Reason:
- Based on my experience, working without flash in dark spaces (e.g. at church) is very difficult and often leads to the fact that a good quality of the images can not be guaranteed
- Unfortunately, the same applies even with flash for very dark churches and premises, because even the best photo equipment has its limits in low light conditions.

2. An other advantage is, if I'm allowed to move freely within the premises during the ceremony, because that's the only way to shoot different motifs / scenes.
Reason:
- The bride and groom are usually bound to a single position during the ceremony, and without me moving around it is hardly possible to photograph various subjects

Further information:
A wedding is not a press conference, thus, it is rather disturbing, though countless other people take pictures during the ceremony (especially in church), this should be coordinated with the guests by the bride and groom in advance

I rather work with reserve for not producing the above-mentioned impression or to disturbe the ceremony, but still capturing all important moments, so that a temporal sequence in the photos can be seen, but I try as far as possible to stay in the background.
